About the Role

We're urgently hiring an Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our team and help us tackle complex retail challenges using Generative AI. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams in product, business, and engineering to address cutting-edge retail problems with AI. Your expertise in data science, machine learning, and optimization will be instrumental in guiding and mentoring team members, and your strong technical communication skills will help you effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Tackle complex retail challenges using Generative AI to develop intelligent solutions. - Employ deep learning methods and architectures to fine-tune NLP models. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product, business, and engineering to address cutting-edge retail problems with AI. - Build and refine NLP and recommendation systems. - Develop data science models tailored for retail and e-commerce. - Deploy trained ML models to the cloud for business applications. - Lead model development and guide team members through building, testing, and deploying ML models at scale.

What You'll Bring

- Proven experience in data science, machine learning, and optimization models. - Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Econometrics. - Proficiency in Python, Spark, Scala, or R, using open-source frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. - Excellent understanding of AI/ML/DL and Statistics, with strong coding skills in related libraries and frameworks. - Significant experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python, PySpark, and/or Scala. - Knowledge of deployment and scaling best practices. - Effective technical communication skills for non-technical stakeholders. - Experience leading and mentoring junior associates.
