Key Responsibilities

  • Assume total responsibility for all warehouse operations, including equipment, products, and personnel, while prioritizing world-class standards of safety, quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve daily order targets by handling and preserving assigned machines and attached merchandise professionally.
  • Ensure the safety of all individuals by enforcing the use of proper PPE and adhering to established safety protocols.
  • Monitor and control the quality of products to maintain customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
  • Provide regular training and refresher courses to warehouse personnel to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest policies and procedures related to warehouse work.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the safe and effective operation of a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
  • Organize the maintenance and restoration of warehouse machinery to keep them functional.
  • Complete safety observations and ensure that all safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area to prevent potential health and safety hazards.
  • Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently, gathering and organizing information, filling out forms, and signing legal agreements as required.
  • Seek guidance and support from supervisors or colleagues when needed, and be open to feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Embrace the TPC approach to enhance overall operational excellence and contribute to the development of a positive and productive work environment.
  • Schedule and allocate personnel and resources for the efficient running of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Adhere to established programs, policies, and practices to produce foods that meet both regulatory and company requirements and are of high quality.
  • Answer to the Food Safety and Quality Principles established by Kroger Manufacturing, and handle tasks in an environment that may contain food allergens.

Essential Qualifications

  • Basic math skills, with the ability to perform calculations and measurements accurately.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to consider the intended audience and purpose when conveying messages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, which demonstrates commitment and determination.
  • Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry, which would be an asset in this role.
