About the Role: Customer Care Specialist II

In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and their issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner. As a Customer Care Specialist II, you will be the face of blithequark, representing our brand and values in every interaction. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving customer service inquiries or issues via incoming phone, email, and/or chat contacts, providing critical service and product information, processing orders, and tracking customer packages.

A Day in the Life of a Customer Care Specialist II at blithequark

  • Successfully troubleshoot and resolve all customer service inquiries or issues via incoming phone, email, and/or chat contacts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Provide customers with critical service and product information, addressing their concerns and needs in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process orders and enter data into our order entry system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Track customer packages, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs

Requirements for Success: Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities that align with our values and customer-centric approach. These include:

  • 6+ months of experience within a customer service-focused environment, such as a contact center, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a high sense of urgency and adaptability in response to changing customer needs and business priorities
  • Understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting issues with minimal assistance, ensuring seamless resolution of technical issues
  • Ability to work a set schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with required overtime as business needs dictate, and flexibility during peak times
  • A quiet, distraction-free, secure home workspace that meets our technical requirements, including wired, high-speed Internet, modem or router with Ethernet port, and a thin client that can connect directly (no satellite Internet or Wi-Fi)
  • The ability to work your entire shift using a computer while stationed at a desk, wearing a headset, and turning on the camera when requested by leadership

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable and will be considered an asset in your application:

  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven track record of self-motivation and discipline
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools and technologies
  • Experience working in a contact center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, with a focus on languages relevant to our customer base
