As a Phone and Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will be part of a dedicated team that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. **Key Responsibilities** As a Phone and Chat Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: * Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner * Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries * Following established communication scripts to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions * Identifying customer needs, clarifying information, researching and providing solutions and/or alternatives * Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide exceptional customer service * Performing data entry and customer service skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks * Navigating online resources efficiently to verify nurse credentials and facilitate shift assignments * Working requests/records received for those requesting to sign up for a shift, identifying customer needs and researching to determine if request has necessary credentials * Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to skillfully change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure * Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, with a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: * 1 year of customer service or customer support experience * 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required * Technical savvy, with the ability to navigate online resources efficiently * Previous remote work from home experience a plus * Quick learner and able to work independently * Type 35 words per minute accurately * Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening * A background check applicable with state and federal laws **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Previous experience in a healthcare or medical setting * Familiarity with online verification systems and credentialing processes * Experience with data entry and customer service software * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and ever-changing environment * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Phone and Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will have access to: * Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge * Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company * A dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation * A comprehensive benefits package, including paid training, health insurance, and retirement savings plan **Work Environment and Company Culture** blithequark is committed to creating a work environment that is inclusive, supportive, and empowering.
