**Experienced Customer Service Representative – Payments and Digital Strategy Team**

Join our dynamic team and discover a world of possibilities, where you'll grow professionally, develop new skills, and make a lasting impact. **Why You'll Love This Role** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be an integral part of the Payments and Digital Strategy team at blithequark's Credit Union. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Completing daily tasks related to check processing, item processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers * Coordinating return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve, and other institutions * Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing * Working member cases/assignments and following established guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with NACHA regulations and federal banking laws * Processing mortgage payments, multi-account, and member deposits, credit card payments, and other transactions, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff transactions * Reviewing, examining, and approving remote deposit, mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products * Logging, studying, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns * Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching * Completing daily balancing and department closing * Obtaining information from contributors for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests * Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information * Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers * Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws * Depositing check returns, reviewing member draft changes, processing member checks, affirming contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers * Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees **What You'll Need for Success** To excel in this role, you'll need: * A high school degree or GED * Intermediate Excel and Word experience * Previous customer/member service experience * Previous banking or Credit Union experience * Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience * Strong skills in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) * Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs * Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills * Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team * Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations * Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department * Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors * Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision * Ability to self-motivate with robust employer skills and capacity for attention to detail * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines * Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance * Must pass relevant blithequark and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams **What You'll Get** As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy: * Travel Perks: Explore the world with your family and friends, with access to over 365 destinations on more than 6,800 daily flights across our global network. * Health Benefits: Enjoy comprehensive health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits from day one, plus digital health visits, flexible spending accounts, and more. * Wellness Programs: Stay healthy and balanced with our wellness programs, offering the right tools, resources, and support to help you thrive. * 401(k) Program: Available upon hire, with company contributions to your 401(k) plan after one year. * Additional Benefits: Enjoy our Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, cruises, and more. **Join a Dynamic Team** At blithequark, we're committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment, where everyone feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
