About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Administrator to join our growing team in Brunswick, Maine. As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including checking in and out trucks, managing the flow of trucks into and out of the facility, inspecting the yard, updating time-sensitive documents, running reports, and communicating with various teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Check in and out all trailers entering/leaving the yard and log trailer status, including trailer number, seal number, trailer status (full or empty), farm hauler number, load number, date, and time.
  • Review all inbound and outbound trailers on the log sheet to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Appear and dispatch loads into warehouse, transportation, and yard management systems.
  • Conduct a daily yard check and reconcile the yard check with yard stock to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Plan and communicate trailer movement in the yard to switchers, dock managers, and transportation planners.
  • Direct drivers to proper locations in the yard for drop-off and pick-up of trailers.
  • Ensure the completion of all required paperwork, records, and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and a consistent flow into the facility.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service or warehousing and fulfillment experience.
  • Ability to work all shifts and stay at work beyond 40 hours as required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other organizational/planning tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to focus on and perform multiple tasks.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to use a computer keyboard, computer screen, phone headset, and phone system.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position.
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 10 hours.
  • Ability to perform all aforementioned duties regardless of accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and logistics software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data entry and record-keeping.
