Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Product Management for Customer Experience will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Strategy & Planning (40%): Develop and execute product strategies that align with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends. This includes setting the overall product vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and prioritizing product updates to support the enterprise roadmap.
  • Delivery & Execution (30%): Drive product development by reviewing performance, directing work efforts, and ensuring products meet quality and change control standards. This includes resolving issues, providing guidance on design, and reviewing product metrics to inform strategic and tactical decisions.
  • People (30%): Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Product Managers, attract and retain top talent, and foster collaboration with team members to drive value and identify and resolve impediments.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Leading the strategy to deliver quality products that add value to customers and the business
  • Generating innovative ideas for growth and driving change management and process improvement
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to create alignment between products and provide a seamless user experience
  • Understanding financial and business impact of proposed product updates and activities
  • Identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product performance and making recommendations for improvements
  • Participating in and influencing the development of enterprise technology roadmaps
  • Supporting and nurturing strategic vendor relationships

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum Qualifications: 6 years of relevant work experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and the ability to work in the United States
  • Preferred Qualifications: 6-8 years of relevant work experience, mastery of modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies, and proficiency in communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members
  • Essential Skills: Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills, ability to attract and retain top talent, and experience with product management fundamentals, user research, and testing
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with extreme programming (XP) principles, paired programming, test-driven development, and continuous deployment, as well as proficiency in creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories
