QA Engineer

Hypemasters is an exciting and rapidly expanding game development company renowned for creating cutting-edge mobile and PC games that prioritise innovation, creativity, and captivating gameplay. We are currently seeking a QA Engineer to join our team.

As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for meticulously tracking the development process of our product from start to finish, overseeing production, and conducting thorough tests at each stage to ensure it aligns with our standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify that all product pieces and components are functioning and meet quality standards.
  • Check that the product is compliant with requirements and design plans.
  • Identify, isolate and track bugs throughout testing.
  • Effectively document testing phases, identifying and recording defects, bugs, errors, and other associated issues.
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Work with the production team and developers to identify and improve system requirements, supporting the team in implementing those changes as needed.
  • Prioritise and plan testing activities.
  • Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute automated tests.
  • Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved.
  • Stay current with industry trends in testing strategies.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in manual games QA.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Experience of working in an agile development environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in bug reporting workflows and bug management.
  • Skilled in creating comprehensive test plans and producing clear and concise test reports.
  • Familiar with Apple and Google store guidelines.
  • Proficient with xCode, Android Studio, Android Debug Bridge, Apptim and Gamebench.
