About the Role

As a Customer Support Chat Specialist at Givebutter, you will play a vital role in supporting the fundraising efforts of a diverse group of nonprofits, ranging from small organizations to large educational institutions and Fortune 500 companies. Your primary responsibilities will include responding to inquiries from current and prospective users and donors via live chat and email, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions to their queries. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to user queries in a timely and accurate manner via live chat and email, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Follow up with unresponsive users and leads to ensure their questions are resolved, demonstrating a proactive approach to customer support.
  • Proactively identify user needs and help customers implement specific features, providing personalized support and guidance.
  • Analyze product malfunctions, test different scenarios, and report issues to our development team, contributing to the continuous improvement of our platform.
  • Gather user feedback, feature requests, and workarounds, and proactively suggest improvements to our product and services, helping us to enhance the overall user experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset, including:

  • At least 2 years of experience working remotely in the tech industry, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role, with a deep understanding of customer support principles and practices.
  • Experience handling multiple incoming chat requests simultaneously, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Access to a computer or laptop and reliable internet connection, with a second monitor recommended to enhance productivity.
  • Experience using help desk software and remote tools, such as Intercom, Slack, and Notion, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Compensation and Benefits
