Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated, self-driven individuals to join our team as Remote Customer Service Representatives. This is a full-time or seasonal opportunity, offering a unique chance to grow with our company. As a representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing customer accounts, and offering technical support, among other key responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package is competitive, with opportunities for growth based on performance and attendance.

  • Base Pay: $14.50 per hour
  • Enhanced Rate: $16.00 per hour, contingent on weekly attendance and performance
  • Spanish Bilingual Base Pay: $15.50 per hour
  • Spanish Bilingual Enhanced Rate: $17.00 per hour, contingent on weekly attendance and performance

Requirements for Success

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s
  • Possess a dedicated, private, and secure workspace
  • Use a personal laptop or desktop computer for the training period
  • Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period
  • Complete a background check and health screening
  • Have cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite are not compatible)

Essential Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, your key duties will include:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently
  • Managing customer accounts and providing technical support
  • Entering application data
  • Responding to online chat inquiries as assigned
  • Interpreting and following defined procedures and policies
  • Demonstrating creative problem-solving skills
  • Showing flexibility and adaptability to changing projects and updates
  • Effectively managing time and tasks, including multitasking and task prioritization
  • Engaging in extensive self-study, training, and testing, with eligibility to proceed through training and certifications dependent on passing required exams
  • Adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experiences are preferred:

  • Previous experience in customer support or technical support roles
  • Previous experience with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
  • Previous experience in a call center environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Spanish bilingual skills, which are considered a plus
