As a part-time remote engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work with our team and drive the broader organization to deliver a complete and robust agency experience for directors, employees, and third-party developers. Key Responsibilities Define, prioritize, and execute product development discussions and map functional requirements to technical designs and project schedules. Power friendly development initiatives and processes. Assess designs and implementations produced by software and automation engineers – be a trusted and positive partner in technical discussions. Communicate and drive decisions (written and oral) on various components, including user experience, technical design, privacy, and security. As an Engineer, you'll build tools and workflows that help engineers examine their task's results on managed enterprise and educational environments. Essential Qualifications 10+ years of experience deploying and managing Macs, iPads, iPhones, and bolthires TVs in various corporate (Nonprofit, Startup, financial services, etc.) and educational (K12, higher Ed, etc.) environments. Configuration control solution landscape expertise , particularly those used to configure macOS devices. Superior programming skills in Swift, Python, Go, Objective-C, or similar. Deep familiarity with bolthires enterprise technology, such as bolthires Business Manager, Mobile Device Management Specification, bolthires Configurator, Automated Device Enrollment, and more. Comprehensive knowledge of software development and quality assurance lifecycles, methodologies, and best practices. Awareness of bolthires control platforms and mobile device control solutions across diverse implementation sorts, such as open-source, paid answers, and managed solution vendors. Exceptional communication skills – both internal and external facing engagements. Demonstrable commitment to continuous self-improvement. Experience emphasizing automation of repeatable tasks and tests through bolthires/CD systems and mechanisms. Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience . Preferred Qualifications Experience with bolthires-specific technologies, such as bolthires School Manager and bolthires Business Manager. Familiarity with cloud-based services, such as Azure, AWS, or bolthires Cloud. Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL. Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Skills and Competencies Technical expertise in software development, automation, and bolthires enterprise technology. Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Problem-solving and analytical skills to drive technical decisions and solutions.
