Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote support to a school district in the Chicago, IL area for the remainder of the 2024-2025 academic year. As a remote SLP, you will be responsible for conducting virtual assessments and therapy sessions, developing personalized intervention plans, and collaborating with school personnel to ensure the best possible outcomes for students with communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct remote assessments and therapy sessions for students with communication disorders, including speech, language, and fluency disorders.
* Develop and implement personalized intervention plans tailored to the needs of each student, in collaboration with school personnel.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support.
* Provide regular progress updates and communicate effectively with school personnel to ensure seamless integration of services.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a school setting, with a strong background in educational speech-language pathology.
* Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for Illinois, with the ability to hold licenses in both your home state and Illinois.
* ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
* Current professional liability insurance coverage.
* Ability to maintain state clearances and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
