As a Part-Time Home Care Scheduler, you will be responsible for:- Scheduling clients' Home Health/Hospice services with clinician continuity, ensuring that clients receive the most effective and efficient care.
- Identifying client needs and scheduling clinicians with the appropriate competencies to match client level of care.
- Exercising judgment in determining the most effective and efficient method of scheduling and rescheduling patients.
- Providing optimal levels of communication with patients, clinicians, clinical managers, physicians, and homecare coordinators.
- May also provide coverage for multiple sites and/or Hospice support.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:- Computer efficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in a healthcare-related field or home care experience preferred.
- Attention to detail.
