About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Chat Representative. This role is pivotal in delivering top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency, empathy, and professionalism. As a chat representative, you will be the face of blithequark, providing solutions, answering queries, and ensuring that every interaction with our brand is positive and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to 2-3 incoming chats simultaneously using the LiveEngage (LivePerson) platform, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Reply to incoming emails from customers, addressing their concerns and queries in a thorough and courteous manner.
  • Request contact prescriptions via phone from eye care providers as needed, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Consult customers on the best value for their contact lens purchase, applying sales skills to meet customer needs while achieving sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing the customer experience and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Maintain high performance metrics, including quality, sales, and dependability, continuously striving for improvement and excellence.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills, thinking critically and acting swiftly to resolve customer issues while aligning with company policies and values.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
  • Excellent typing and computer skills, with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute, enabling efficient handling of multiple chats and tasks.
  • A strong work ethic, characterized by hustle, discipline, and a self-starting mentality, driving you to achieve targets and excel in performance metrics.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively, ensuring that all responsibilities are met with high quality and timeliness.
