Job Overview

As the Part-Time Customer Service Lead at blithequark, you will be responsible for leading by example, modeling our company core values, and driving improvement in friendliness, speed of checkout, and customer feedback surveys. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Customer Service Supervisor, you will ensure that our customers receive exceptional, friendly, and professional service at all times. Your key responsibilities will include interacting with customers to create a positive shopping experience, proactively solving problems, and maintaining a neat and orderly front-end area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model company core values and philosophy, ensuring that all customer interactions reflect our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Drive improvement in friendliness, speed of checkout, and customer feedback surveys by maintaining a customer-first focus and delivering a consistently great experience to all our customers
  • Maintain a neat and orderly front-end area, troubleshooting issues with registers and transactions to minimize downtime and ensure seamless customer service
  • Coordinate meal and break periods, monitor schedule adherence, and ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and are working together to achieve our customer service goals
  • Lead by example, inspiring and motivating associates to provide exceptional customer service and promoting a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required. You should also be physically able to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and stand and walk for extended periods. You should be able to work well under pressure, think critically, and solve problems efficiently.
