Job Summary
As a Managerial Accounting tutor on our platform, you'll have the opportunity to work with students from across the country, providing one-on-one instruction, small group classes, and large live classes. Our platform is designed to be flexible, allowing you to choose your own hours and schedule, and to work as much or as little as you'd like. We're looking for tutors who are passionate about teaching, have excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate subject-matter expertise in Managerial Accounting.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality instruction to students in Managerial Accounting, using our purpose-built Live Learning Platform
* Develop and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to the needs and learning styles of each student
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
* Utilize our platform's features, including adaptive assessments and real-time feedback, to inform instruction and drive student success
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in teaching and learning
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (Master's degree or higher preferred)
* 2+ years of experience teaching or tutoring Managerial Accounting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Familiarity with online learning platforms and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
* Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles
* Certification in teaching or tutoring (e.g. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA))
* Experience with curriculum development and instructional design
