About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Remote Call Center Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients and caregivers, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Your primary focus will be on answering incoming calls, resolving issues, and providing guidance on payroll-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls from patients and caregivers with empathy and professionalism, responding to their questions and providing essential information.
  • Actively assisting with enrollment, program applications, and setup in applicable systems.
  • Retrieving information to assist caregivers with payroll-related inquiries.
  • Utilizing de-escalation techniques when supporting upset or frustrated callers.
  • Offering guidance and directions to both caregivers and patients to effectively resolve any issues they're facing.
  • Documenting information and outcomes as necessary.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a strong foundation in customer service, with a minimum of one year of experience in a similar position. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build trust with patients and caregivers, while your technical skills will allow you to navigate our systems with ease.

Your Home Office Environment

To ensure a seamless and productive work experience, you'll need to meet the following technical requirements:

  • A computer with the following specifications: Windows 10 or 11 operating system, 8GB of RAM, 6 CPUs (speed * processors), at least 500MB of free space, sound card (standard on most computers), up-to-date antivirus software, and access to high-speed, hardwired internet.
  • Dual monitors.
  • A USB noise-cancelling headset.
  • A webcam for certification and training purposes.

Flexible Hours of Operation

As a Part-Time Remote Call Center Representative, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling, where you use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don't, within the client's hours of operation. Our hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 08:00 PM ET. Please note that this third-party client requires that contractors service at least 20 hours per week.

Pay and Perks

This flexible opportunity pays independent contractors $13 per hour. Prior to supporting this client, you'll need to successfully complete a Certification class. While you won't be able to invoice for the $13 per hour during Certification, you'll have the ability to earn certification incentives as described below:

  • Option 1: December 16th - December 20th. For this group, the first week of certification from 12/16 - 12/20 will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST each day. A follow-up two-day certification class will be held at a later date, likely the week of 12/30. You'll receive $250 after you successfully complete the first week of certification and begin servicing. You'll receive an additional $100 after you successfully complete a follow-up 2-day certification class scheduled at a later date, likely the week of December 30th.
  • Option 2: December 30th - January 8th. Class will not be held on New Year's Day. For this group, the certification class will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST each day. You'll receive $250 after you successfully certification and begin servicing.
