As a Medical Coder at Workwarp, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Accurately review and code medical records and encounters for diagnoses and procedures, adhering to Risk Adjustment and HCC coding standards.
  • Implement ICD-10-CM, CMS-HCC, and other pertinent coding regulations to ensure compliance and precision.
  • Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of coded data.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies between clinical documentation and diagnosis coding.
  • Stay abreast of the latest coding guidelines, regulations, and updates related to Risk Adjustment and HCC coding.
  • Uphold HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality and data security.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and team members to clarify documentation and resolve coding inquiries.
