Our commitment to exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for talented individuals like you to help us make a difference. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our airline, providing top-notch support to our customers at the ticket counter, baggage claim, and gate areas. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our passengers, setting the tone for their travel experience and ensuring that every interaction is positive, efficient, and memorable. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide friendly and courteous support to customers, responding to their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless airport operations and efficient customer flow * Handle customer transactions, including ticket sales, baggage claims, and travel vouchers * Process payments, make change, and balance daily transactions * Inspect baggage and freight, answering customer inquiries and resolving issues as needed * Answer phone calls, respond to customer emails, and provide information on flight schedules, reservations, and other travel-related topics * Manage overbooked flights, delayed or cancelled flights, and other customer service issues in a professional and empathetic manner * Complete forms and reports as required by the organization * Write incident and complaint reports as needed * Perform other duties as assigned by management **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management * Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job * Ability to understand and follow instructions, learn and apply tagging techniques, rules, and regulations * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, meet public expectations, and work under stressful conditions * Ability to complete customer service training program with an 80% or higher average and pass assessment period * Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis * Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve quick turnaround of aircraft * Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance, adhering to the Ground Tasks Worker Handbook and Work Schedule * Ability to perform all job duties within a restricted space * Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Ability to communicate information and directions verbally or through radio equipment **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment * Knowledge of airline operations and procedures * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods * Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Bilingual or multilingual skills **What We Offer** * Competitive hourly rate of $26/hour * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Comprehensive training program to help you succeed in your role * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) retirement plan with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Access to exclusive employee discounts and perks **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
