Job Summary As an HR Manager at Delta AirLines, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with our business objectives. You will work closely with our leadership team and other HR professionals to drive talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and learning and development initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent. • Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting open communication. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. • Performance Management: Oversee performance appraisal processes, provide guidance on performance improvement plans, and contribute to the development of career progression paths. • Training and Development: Coordinate training programs, workshops, and initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies, aligning them with organizational goals. • Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation structures, conduct salary surveys, and administer benefits programs to attract and retain a high-performing workforce. • HR Policies and Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures, staying up-to-date with employment laws and regulations. • HR Metrics: Analyze HR data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives, make data-driven decisions, and provide insights for continuous improvement. Essential Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree: Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred). • Experience: Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role. • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations. • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability: Ability to build and maintain positive employee relations, with outstanding organizational and time-management skills. Preferred Qualifications • HR Certification: SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification. • Industry Experience: Experience in the aviation or a related industry. • Leadership Experience: Experience in leading cross-functional teams and projects.
