<p>The School of Arts and Sciences at St. Bonaventure University is continuously seeking qualified adjunct instructors. Adjunct professors are hired on an as-needed basis to teach courses across various disciplines within the School of Arts and Sciences. This is a pool posting, and applications will be reviewed as adjunct needs arise. Appointments and course assignments are contingent on enrollment, funding, and department needs.</p><p>Applications are accepted for all departments, including but not limited to:</p><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Biology</li><li>Chemistry</li><li>Computer Science</li><li>Cybersecurity</li><li>English</li><li>History</li><li>Mathematics</li><li>Native American & Indigenous Studies</li><li>Philosophy</li><li>Physics</li><li>Political Science</li><li>Psychology</li><li>Social Work</li><li>Sociology & Criminology</li><li>Theology & Franciscan Studies</li><li>Visual and Performing Arts</li><li>World Languages and Cultural Studies</li></ul><br><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in assigned discipline(s).</li><li>Develop and deliver course content, including lectures, assignments, and assessments.</li><li>Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.</li><li>Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.</li><li>Adhere to university policies and academic standards.</li><li>Participate in department meetings and training, as necessary.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>A Master’s degree in the relevant discipline or a closely related field.</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Ph.D. or terminal degree in the relevant field.</li><li>Demonstrated teaching experience at the college level is preferred.</li><li>Industry experience in the field of instruction.</li></ul><p>Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
