Job Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your primary focus will be on accurately and efficiently managing data entry tasks, ensuring the integrity and consistency of our data systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Data Interpretation and Entry: Read and interpret customer and shipping orders, including deciphering difficult handwriting, and key data into specific Microsoft Excel fields with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of data before entry into the system, ensuring that all information is correct and up-to-date.
  • Data Consistency: Ensure consistency of data across the system, including updating customer address changes and maintaining accurate logs of ongoing work.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks such as filing and copying, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with a strong focus on Excel skills.
  • Reading Comprehension and Critical Thinking: Strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret and understand complex data and instructions.
