You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, and insurance providers. **Job Summary:** We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our growing team of passionate professionals. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and courteous responses to customer inquiries, resolving complex issues, and driving business growth. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain a working knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and services to meet productivity and quality standards * Utilize automated systems to log and retrieve information, perform accurate and timely data entry of electronic faxes * Receive inquiries by telephone, email, fax, or mail and communicate responses within required turnaround times * Respond to telephone inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and courteous manner following standard operating procedures * Interact with external partners, including hospitals, physicians, beneficiaries, or other program recipients * Perform verification of healthcare services to facilitate payment for received services * Identify medical claims meeting CPT/DRG audit criteria and submit the necessary billing data and healthcare records to the third-party auditor * Serve as a liaison between internal and external partners * Investigate and resolve or report provider problems and identify and escalate difficult situations to the appropriate party * Meet or exceed standards for call volume and service level per department guidelines * Initiate cases by collecting and entering demographic, provider, and procedure information into the system * May be responsible for the completion of daily, monthly, and quarterly reports necessary for clinical team operations and client reporting **Requirements:** * High School diploma or equivalent * Proficiency in using PC tools, including electronic mail, intranet, and standard industry applications * Effective verbal and listening skills to provide courteous and professional customer service **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of the health insurance industry * Experience working in a healthcare setting * Medical terminology knowledge is preferred * Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus * Minimum of two years of customer service experience **Why Join blithequark?** We're a team of experienced and caring leaders, clinicians, pioneering technologists, and industry professionals who come together to redefine expectations for the healthcare industry. The pay range for this position is $15.48-$17.20 an hour.
