About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Retail Customer Service Expert to join our team at blithequark. As a key contributor to our customer service team, you will be responsible for fielding customer inquiries, responding to questions and concerns, and finding innovative ways to provide solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Connect with customers via phone, email, chat, and social media to resolve their questions or concerns
  • Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise
  • Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate to ensure timely and effective resolution
  • Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments in a professional and courteous manner
  • Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide feedback on call issues to help improve our customer service processes and procedures
  • Upsell products or services when required to meet customer needs and exceed sales targets

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment with minimal supervision
  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Over 18 years of age, with a high school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute, with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and software applications
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex customer issues and provide effective solutions
  • Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and technology
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends and practices, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service

Work from Home Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following work from home requirements:

  • Must be able to provide a personal device (desktop, laptop, or tablet) with Windows 10 or later, and a minimum of 4GB RAM
  • Internet connection requirements, including a minimum subscribed download rate of 12.0 Mbps and a minimum subscribed upload rate of 3.0 Mbps
  • ISP must have no packet loss and ping under 50ms, with proof of internet speed required
  • Clean and quiet workspace, with a dedicated area for working and minimal distractions
