**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Claims Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff, and upper management. You will be responsible for analyzing information in our Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts, requesting and distributing internal information to aid the Claims Adjudication Department, and managing workflow to process and complete all requests and documents according to established procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Analyze information in Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts
* Request and distribute internal information to aid Claims Adjudication Department
* Answer phone and email inquiries and provide information and explanations on the various levels of contract coverage and claims processes
* Manage workflow, process, and complete all requests and documents according to established procedures
* Be a team member, work effectively in a friendly team environment
* Be interactive and communicative with management and co-workers in a visible manner, requiring camera usage for training, team meetings, and meetings with management
* Perform other job duties as assigned
**Key to Success**
* Minimum High School graduate or GED required
* Strong organizational and customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve and multitask, with a high level of accuracy in data entry skills
* The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff, upper management, and customers
* Proficient working on a PC, with a working knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to learn new programs quickly
* Type at least 35 wpm, and document information while discussing the claim over the phone
* Automotive Service Department experience preferred, with a background in Warranty Administrators, BDC Representatives, Automotive Cashier/Receptionist, or Service Writers
