Job Overview

The Product Principal - Customer Experience is a senior leadership role that focuses on driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and delivering products that exceed customer expectations. You will work closely with Product Directors, cross-functional program leaders, and senior-level leaders to guide in-depth business reviews, communicate and present across all levels of the organization, and drive change management and process improvement. Your expertise in generating innovative ideas for growth, driving change management, and process improvement will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery and Execution (10%): Coordinate with Distinguished Engineers, User Experience Principals, and impacted teams to ensure a clear path to scope and alignment; review recommended solutions and work of product teams to ensure products align with company, stakeholder, and end-user priorities.
  • Strategy and Planning (60%): Partner with Cross-Functional Programs or Technology Portfolios to align outcomes; cascade context up to leadership and strategy down to balanced teams using OKRs; lead cross-functional discovery by partnering with UX Principals, Distinguished Engineers (DEs), and balanced teams; create, coordinate, and sequence activities to ensure alignment across impacted teams.
  • Team and Stakeholder Management (30%): Partner with leadership to represent the portfolio during enterprise planning, coordination, and discovery; foster collaboration across multiple teams and portfolios to drive value and identify and resolve impediments; manage cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations to ensure scoping aligns to product strategy and provide education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. The minimum qualifications for this role include:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • A bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
  • 8 years of work experience.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years of previous leadership experience.
