Job Overview
As a Member Service Specialist at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support and assistance to our callers, ensuring they receive the help they need to access their medication and live a healthier life. Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming calls or emails from members, pharmacies, and doctor's offices regarding requests for information on medication and benefits
- Investigate and resolve member inquiries in a timely manner, escalating issues to the appropriate team member when necessary
- Adhere to and reinforce blithequark's standard operating procedures and training guidelines, including those specific to HIPAA
- Provide empathetic and professional support to our callers, ensuring a positive experience and resolving issues efficiently
- Other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Contact Center team
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- 1 year of customer service experience, with a focus on providing exceptional support and resolving issues efficiently
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for a work visa or residency sponsorship
- Dedicated, secure high-speed cable, DSL, or fiber internet connection (no wireless or 5G home internet connections)
- A private, quiet, and distraction-free home workspace with a physically secure door
- Availability for a 6 to 8 week training class, with the ability to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Call center experience, particularly in the healthcare industry
- Work-from-home (remote) experience, with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively
- Fluency in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with our diverse member base
- Strong PC skills, with the ability to navigate multiple software systems simultaneously
- Detail-oriented, with excellent communication and multitasking skills
