We're looking for talented individuals who share our vision and are eager to join our dynamic team. **About the Role** We're seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our Information Designing team, which is responsible for driving data-driven experiences and development to empower the Information Designing and AI needs for business and functional projects with a digital core. As a key member of this team, you'll collaborate with colleagues, data scientists, and machine learning engineers to design and develop innovative cloud-based solutions that will shape the future of the aviation industry. **Key Responsibilities** * Collaborate with development teams and other department leaders/partners to provide innovative technical solutions that enable business capabilities. * Participate and lead in the design and development of creative batch and streaming data applications using AWS technologies. Support large-scale data pipelines in a distributed and flexible environment. Enable and improve production AWS environment for data foundation and structures. * Set up containers and Serverless stage with cloud framework. * Provide the team technical guidance and approach to be attempted and guide them in goal of questions/issues. * Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud-based applications using AWS technologies. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables. * Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. * Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud-based solutions. **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based technologies. * 4+ years of experience managing infrastructure and data pipelines using Cloud Formation, Terraform, PySpark, Wind current, or similar technologies. * 2+ years of experience leading a team that includes designers, planners, or support staff on AWS. * Working knowledge of standard AWS technologies - EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, Paste, SNS, others. * General familiarity with other AWS technologies. * Working knowledge of CI/CD tools, SQL, Python, Flash, Adaptation control framework, JIRA. * Hands-on experience with any object-oriented programming language. * Legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship. **Preferred Qualifications** * AWS Certification - Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar. * Experience with Data Quality tools - Great Expectations, Deequ, or similar. * Phenomenal knowledge and experience with Linux operating system or Windows. **What We Offer** At blithequark, we're committed to providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that includes: * Health and Wellness Benefits: + Medical, dental, and vision insurance + Prescription medication coverage + Health savings accounts (HSAs) or flexible spending accounts (FSAs) + Health programs and resources * Financial Benefits: + Retirement plans, such as 401(k) plans, often with company matching contributions + Employee stock purchase plans + Travel benefits and discounts for employees and qualified family members * Protection Inclusion: + Life insurance + Accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance + Short-term and long-term disability insurance * Paid Time: + Paid vacation days + Paid holidays + Sick leave * Educational Help: + Tuition reimbursement for qualified educational expenses * Career Advancement: + Training and development programs + Valuable opportunities for advancement within the company * Employee Assistance Programs (EAP): + Counseling and support services for employees and their families * Travel Benefits: + Backup travel allowances for employees and qualified family members + Limited or free airline tickets for personal travel **Work Environment and Company Culture** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a workplace that's welcoming, inclusive, and supportive.
