Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored for an online setting.
Deliver engaging and effective instruction through video conferencing platforms.
Work closely with general education teachers to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications.
Conduct virtual assessments and monitor student progress to ensure growth and success.
Keep accurate and up-to-date special education documentation.
Maintain open communication with parents and actively participate in IEP meetings.
Create and adapt digital materials to support students with special needs.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
Valid teaching license with a special education endorsement.
At least 2 years of experience in special education.
Proficiency with online learning tools and assistive technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a virtual setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
