Composite Fabricator - (no experience necessary ) with Security Clearance

?? NOTE** - College students who have no experience and want experience OR individuals who are interested with no experience, and willing to learn are encouraged to apply Job Functions: ?? Fabricate composite parts, which may include bonding prep, tool prep, ply kit generation, lamination, vacuum bagging, de-molding, trimming, and part handling ?? Handle perishable materials, paying close attention... to expiration dates, out time life, and traceability information ?? Follows all planning, visual aids, and process work instructions. These instructions, in combination with part specific tooling, are used to fabricate composite parts and bonded assemblies. ?? Operate handheld tools. (e.g.) Scissors, razor knives, grinders, drills, sanders, cutting wheels, etc. ?? Excels in a team environment, supports other departments or completes other duties as necessary ?? Work in both FOE critical and FOE sensitive environments and observe all related safety procedures ?? Maintain a clean and safe working environment Basic Qualification: ?? High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of composite manufacturing/fabrication experience or approved composites certificate program. ?? Basic computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications ?? Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting to 50 pounds. ?? Ability to work flexible/changing schedules including weekends. ?? Ability to work in El Segundo, CA Preferred Qualifications: ?? Composite fabrication experience in an aerospace, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment ?? Demonstrated mechanical ability and able to work under limited supervision ?? Be able to operate autoclave and curing ovens
