Engagement Description ?? This Pharmacy Technician Role is within a remote contact center. We service health care payer Medicare Part D Members and Providers. Our goal is to handle Member and Provider inquiries concerning benefits and coverage determinations. Our timeframes are extremely tight (urgent 24 hours, standard 72 hours).
?? Work on the pharmacy help desk handling prior authorization requests from doctors' offices.
?? Requests are received via fax, mail, email, phone and electronic PA system
?? Receive and respond to member questions about their pharmacy benefit
?? Work from home ?? private and quiet workspace required
Ability to work 8.5 hours starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 9pm.

?? Retail Pharmacy experience ?? at least 2 years
?? Good computer skills (Typing, outlook, excel, etc)
?? Good fundamental knowledge of drug names and drug classes
