Facility Credentialing Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Facility Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 5 years in conducting primary source verifications and managing end-to-end credentialing processes for facilities. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining the highest level of integrity in our credentialing operations.

Key Responsibilities: ?? Conduct primary source verifications in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. ?? Prepare and process end-to-end credentialing packets for facilities, ensuring accuracy and completeness. ?? Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate timely credentialing and re-credentialing processes. ?? Maintain up-to-date and organized records of all credentialing activities. ?? Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as accreditation standards (e.g., NCQA, URAC, Joint Commission). ?? Serve as a point of contact for credentialing inquiries, both internally and externally. ?? Develop and maintain strong relationships with facilities and governing bodies.

Qualifications: ?? Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility credentialing, including primary source verifications and full-cycle credentialing processes. ?? Comprehensive knowledge of credentialing standards and regulatory requirements. ?? Experience working in a health plan or health system is highly desirable. ?? Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. ?? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ?? Proficiency in credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite. ?? Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications: ?? Familiarity with NCQA, URAC, or Joint Commission standards. ?? Certification in Credentialing (e.g., CPCS or CPMSM) is a plus.
