Group Facilitator Part Time Evenings- PLUS every other Saturday

About the position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Master's Level Group Facilitator to join our team in a part-time, contracted role. The position involves leading therapeutic sessions for individuals dealing with mental health and addiction issues, primarily during evenings and every other Saturday. The facilitator will create a supportive environment, utilize various therapeutic techniques, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
?? Conduct group therapy sessions for individuals with mental health or addiction issues

?? Create a safe and supportive environment for participants to share their experiences
,
?? Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including art therapy, to facilitate healing and personal growth
,
?? Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
,
?? Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
,
?? Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
,
?? Provide education and resources to participants to enhance their understanding of their conditions and promote self-care

Requirements
?? Proven experience in hospital or direct support settings
,
?? Expertise in chronic pain counseling and addiction counseling
,
?? Strong assessment skills to evaluate patients' needs and progress
,
?? Knowledge of medical records management, including ICD-9 coding
,
?? Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
,
?? Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds and ages
