Overview
1Mind.uk is seeking a proactive and skilled full-stack developer to oversee the daily operations of our website and implement minor improvements as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the functionality of our platform, ensuring it operates smoothly while addressing issues and implementing ongoing optimizations.
Key Responsibilities
• Daily Website Maintenance: Monitor and manage the website’s day-to-day functionality, ensuring smooth operation and quick resolution of any issues.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Investigate and fix technical problems, including resolving issues with workflows like sign-ups, user authentication, or payment gateways.
• Improvements & Enhancements: Develop and implement minor improvements to optimize the platform’s user experience and performance.
• Cross-Platform Testing: Ensure website functionality across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems for a consistent user experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team to understand business needs, recommend solutions, and prioritize tasks.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and concise records of changes made and provide recommendations for long-term improvements.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a web developer or full-stack engineer, with a track record of managing and improving live platforms.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, Python, PHP, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with frontend and backend development, including databases, user authentication, and account management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with an ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
• Experience ensuring compliance with standards such as GDPR and best practices for accessibility and user experience.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience working with membership or subscription-based platforms.
• Familiarity with 1Mind.uk’s platform (not required but a plus).
• Experience with SEO, performance optimization, and website analytics tools.
