Overview:

Responsibilities:

The nursing process serves as the foundation in providing nursing care. It is a systematic protocol that involves the development, implementation, and assessment of nursing care. The nursing staff continuously assesses the patient's condition, collaborates with the healthcare team to gather data, and develops an individualized care plan that caters to the patient's specific needs. Regular revisions to the care plan based on the efficacy and outcomes of nursing care ensure that the patient receives the most efficient treatment. Ensuring that patients' relevant progress and response to therapy is informed through regular documentation of nursing interventions, care, and response to treatment. In addition, discharge planning involves an evaluation of homecare needs, which requires amendments to the care plan, following the nursing staff's assessment. The nursing staff utilizes advanced nursing skills and critical thinking to cater to the educational needs of patients and their families.
