The Role :
GRC Lead
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and refine IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory mandatesConduct periodic reviews and updates of IT governance documents to ensure ongoing compliance with changing regulations and standardsIdentify, evaluate, and manage IT risks, including cybersecurity threats, data privacy issues, and operational risksPerform comprehensive risk assessments and create risk mitigation plans to address identified vulnerabilitiesContinuously monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management activities and controlsConduct assurance activities including security assessments and issues managementCollaborate with IT teams to improve security compliance, manage risk and the effectiveness of the IT control environmentWork closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit activities and manage IT remediation workstreamsCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and clients, regarding GRC-related mattersWork closely with business teams to address Clients??? GRC related concerns/findings/questionnaires Required Qualification, Skills and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, compliance, information security or auditMinimum of 1 year of experience working with third-party risk management questionnairesIn-depth knowledge of ISO standard 27001Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP are a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsProven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesProficiency in GRC and audit tools and software is a plus Additional Information
