Ag 1 Source is looking for a Sales Manager to lead the crop inputs sales team of a successful Iowa Retail organization. Your role in the organization is to implement strategies and drive growth through a team of area managers and sales agronomists throughout the trade area of the organization. The right candidate will have the skills and industry experience to lead an effective sales team, evaluate market information, understand market conditions, and have a solid grasp of competitors in order to put forth the best company strategies and regional action plans.

What you will be doing:
?Recruit, coach, and lead a proven agronomy sales team
?Develop, and implement strategic marketing plans for the crop inputs business consistent with the organization's long-term vision
?Work closely with the operations team to support product flow, pricing management, and other relevant duties towards product management for the portfolio
?Identify and implement new promotional tactics to create market opportunity
A successful candidate for this Sales Manager will possess the following:
?Experience in managing a successful on-the-farm sales team
?A successful background in creating and implementing crop inputs sales strategy
?Ability to drive growth and performance of a team that crosses a wide geography
?Provide timely and accurate forecasts to determine rationalization or growth opportunities

Desired Location: The territory for this role includes portions of southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa, including the communities of Clear Lake, Mason City, and Waverly, IA; as well as Albert Lea, and Austin, Minnesota.
