Data Analyst

At BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate should have a passion for utilizing data to solve problems, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. The Data Analyst will be an important part of our team, leading the way in data-driven decision making.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in data analysis, and a strong understanding of data visualization, analysis, and modeling tools. The candidate must have excellent problem solving and communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or SQL. A Bachelor?s degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, or statistics) is preferred, but not required. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of data science concepts and an ability to think critically when approaching data-related problems. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track progress and performance. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices. Monitor data quality and accuracy. Propose and implement solutions to data-related challenges. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that data needs are met.
