The Insurance Renewal & Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing new policy applications, the renewal process, and the claims process for insurance policies related to Real Estate development projects. This role involves obtaining new quotes, ensuring policy compliance with lender and regulatory requirements, and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, agents, and carriers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and knowledgeable about insurance requirements for commercial real estate.
The Key Responsibilities: ? Oversee the renewal process for property, liability, and other insurance policies for multifamily developments; ? Obtain and evaluate quotes to ensure optimal coverage and competitive pricing; ? Prepare and oversee the insurance application process for new developments; ? Ensure compliance with lender requirements, state regulations, and project specific insurance needs; ? Facilitate resolutions around coverage issues and claims; ? Maintain accurate records of policy details, endorsements, and renewal deadlines; ? Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices; ? Support bookkeeping tasks as needed; ? Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Required Experience:
3+ years of experience in commercial property management
Strong understanding of insurance underwriting, policy renewals, and compliance requirements
Intermediate math and bookkeeping skills
Proficient in MS Office software
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
Attention to detail
Able to consistently track and meet deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
