This position at National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, offers a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to gain industry experience in a sales and customer support role while preparing to become a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent. The role includes paid classroom and hands-on training to assist trainees in obtaining State Property/Casualty and Life and Health Licenses. The individual will work under the direct guidance of an Agent or Lead Sales Agent, assisting customers, completing marketing activities, and supporting all office functions. Once licensed, the position will focus on the profitable growth and attainment of business goals by marketing and servicing Direct Auto products, which include Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance, to both new and existing customers. The role also involves assisting walk-in customers, supporting office operations, and marketing products outside the office through marketing calls and visits. Additionally, the individual will monitor key competitors in the local market and suggest initiatives to improve Direct Auto's market position, as well as handle sales administration and reporting activities.
Responsibilities
? Assist customers and complete marketing activities under the guidance of an Agent or Lead Sales Agent.

? Responsible for sales administration and reporting activities.

Requirements
? High school diploma or GED.

? Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop customer relationships.

? Experience or strong willingness to develop key relationships and market products within community organizations and the local business community.

? Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office applications.

? Highly motivated to market and sell in a multi-product environment where cross-selling and customer retention is essential.

? Effective verbal and written communication skills.

? Property/Casualty license preferred but not required; ability to acquire it within 90 days of hire as part of training.

? High level of initiative, drive, and openness to learn new skills and information.

? Self-motivated with a passion for sales.
