DESCRIPTION:
? IT Operations Systems Analyst Sr will be responsible for identifying, managing, configuring, integrating, and implementing hardware and software tools that support alerting and monitoring, automation, service management, infrastructure, software development, and support?understanding future departmental strategy and how technology aligns with that direction. Participate in departmental initiatives between various IT and Business groups. Understand operational technologies, platforms, capabilities, and their interactions with other systems and processes to address complex issues while following departmental processes and best practices.
? Ensure high levels of system reliability through system maintenance, support, and monitoring of hardware and software infrastructure with minimal oversight. Participate in incident response, including major incident and disaster recovery. Use machine learning, data analytics, and artificial intelligence to predict and prevent potential outages.
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, build solutions, and implement process automation and orchestration. Contribute to continuous improvement, workflow creation and management, artificial intelligence, and machine learning platforms. Effectively communicate automation capabilities to technical and non-technical stakeholders while consistently demonstrating clear technical judgment and innovative thinking.
Technical Skills
? Understanding in organizationally approved scripting and markup languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON)
? Understanding of management of Web Services APIs (REST, SOAP) and messaging middleware
? Experience with automation tools and ability to automate processes where ever possible and create new technologies when needed.
? Proven understanding of organizationally accepted technology standards.
? Demonstrated knowledge of hardware, storage and other infrastructure and data components.
? Understanding knowledge of hosted and cloud platforms.
? Understanding knowledge of virtualization tools and strategies.
? Experience with ITIL service management processes.
? Experience with tools employed in continuous integration/delivery.
? Knowledge of application and infrastructure performance monitoring tools and techniques.
? Experience with creating, programming, operating and servicing Audio Visual solutions as well as conducting Audio Visual management activities. Intermediate knowledge of containerization practices (Docker, Kubernetes).
? Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
? Understanding of organizationally approved project management methodologies (e.g. Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
? Ability to effectively prioritize based on impact and urgency and restore services based on Service Level Agreements
? Understanding of networking and software defined networking, DNS, Load Balancing technologies, scaling, firewalls, and routers.
? Strong experience with Management concepts and Knowledge Centered Service (KCS) methodologies
? Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and tools.
? Experience with research, analytical, decision making, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
? Ability to incorporate LEAN principles, continuous improvement; including design and support of process workflows, document management, collaboration tools and platforms.
