About the role

We?re looking for a Claim Adjuster who is excited about a unique opportunity to help build modern commercial insurance from the ground up!

In this role, you will play a critical role in driving Nirvana?s world class claims organization by auditing and driving claim success through a third party claims administrator.

What you?ll do
? Continuously exhibit and uphold the core values of Nirvana
? Review coverage and damage analysis completed by the TPA
? Review and provide input, as needed, on liability decisions and recovery opportunities
? Collaborate with the Director of Claims on severity losses, reserve adjustments and claim evaluations
? Provide recommendations on settlement negotiations and litigation management
? Utilize data available to drive focus on claim trends
? Collaborate effectively across all lines of business
? Handle special projects or additional duties assigned related to your role as an individual contributor of the claims organization

About you
? 4+ years of experience in claim adjudication with a strong preference for experience in commercial auto and/or transportation
? Active adjusters license in home or designated home state
? Clear track record of over-achieving targets
? Strong communication skills, both written and oral
? Bias-to-action - you?re not afraid to get your hands dirty and stretch yourself
? Owner mentality - take accountability for your actions and results
? Prior experience in a fast paced, high growth environment
? Ability to successfully navigate in areas of gray
? Strong collaborator with team members based across the country and the world
? College degree or equivalent experience
