About the position

The Branch Services Specialist I plays a crucial role in the oversight and management of various Deposit Account Operations that support Branch Services at Seacoast Bank. This position is essential for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of various activities related to Branch Services, including items processing, balancing of files, and monitoring of branch scanning issues. The specialist will also handle Missing Deposit Reports, Virtual Vault monitoring, and Teller Cash balancing, among other responsibilities. The role requires a commitment to creating positive customer experiences and supporting branches from a Deposit Operations perspective while demonstrating Seacoast's core competencies. In this position, the Branch Services Specialist will be responsible for completing day-to-day activities as assigned, which include but are not limited to: items processing, balancing files, monitoring branch scanning issues, and assisting with various reports and reconciliations. The specialist will continually strive to improve operational efficiencies and enhance customer experiences, fostering a positive teamwork environment. Additionally, the role involves ensuring that written policies and procedures are maintained and that activities are monitored for accurate completion, with corrections made when necessary. The Branch Services Specialist will also participate as an alternate for Business Continuity and Incident Response, supporting the Deposit Account Services Manager on projects and special tasks as needed. Adherence to the highest legal and ethical standards is paramount, including compliance with AML/BSA requirements, operational procedures, audit procedures, and all other regulated banking requirements. The specialist must also adhere to Seacoast Bank's Code of Conduct, ensuring that all actions align with the bank's values and regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities
? Oversee and manage various Deposit Account Operations related to Branch Services.

? Ensure the integrity and accuracy of Branch Services activities including items processing and balancing of files.

? Monitor and assist with Branch Scanning issues and Missing Deposit Reports.

? Conduct Virtual Vault monitoring and Teller Cash balancing.
,
? Complete day-to-day activities as assigned, including balancing and clearing CD Control and Deposit Interface Suspense review.

? Participate as an alternate for Business Continuity and Incident Response.
,
? Support the Deposit Account Services Manager on projects and special tasks as needed.
,
? Maintain knowledge of department tasks and strive to improve operational efficiencies and customer experience.

? Ensure adherence to AML/BSA requirements and operational procedures.

Requirements
? 1-2 years of related Operations experience.
,
? 2 years of Customer Service experience.
,
? Proven accuracy and thoroughness in work.
,
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
,
? Ability to work independently and adapt to changes in the work environment.
,
? Good written and verbal communication skills.
,
? Proficiency in PC functions including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and bank-related systems.

? High school diploma required.
