JUNIOR SOFTWARE QA ENGINEER

Storage360 is looking to hire an experienced, detail-oriented, and Agile Junior Software QA Engineer to join our development team based in Denver, CO (remote-capable within commutable distance).

This position earns an annual salary starting from $50,000 based on experience and is bonus-eligible. JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a Junior Software QA Engineer who'll play an important role in making sure our software functions seamlessly, helping to catch and squash bugs before they reach our users. You'll collaborate with developers, product managers, and our QA, which will lead to improving testing strategies and making our processes even better. A DAY IN LIFE
? Create, run, and refine manual and automated test cases to ensure our software performs at its best.
? Identify and document bugs, and work with developers to get them fixed fast.
? Test new features and enhancements before they go live.
? Participate in agile team meetings to give feedback and improve the development cycle.
? Contribute to automation efforts to make testing faster and more efficient.
? Stay on top of new testing trends and best practices to keep improving our QA process.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A QA TESTER
? 3 years of experience in software testing.
? Understanding of software testing principles.
? Familiarity with web application testing and debugging in a dynamic development environment.
? Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira and test case tracking platforms such as Zephyr Scale, to ensure comprehensive tracking and management of issues and test cases.
? Familiarity with test automation tools, particularly Cypress, to help automate and speed up the testing process.
? A solid understanding of API testing with tools like Postman to ensure seamless integration and performance.
? Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot issues.
? Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
? Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

WORK SCHEDULE

This position is full-time and remote. Candidates in Colorado are preferred. Our typical office hours are between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm MST.
