Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Learning Liaison Officer will support the work of the Corporate Training Manager and Corporate Training Officers in improving learning enterprise-wide through coaching, consulting, collaborating, and co-facilitating with instructors as well as to align professional learning with district, corporate, and personal goals. The Learning Liaison Officer will provide his/her colleagues with information obtained from individual and group discussions as well as assist in the development of programs and materials relating to ensure the needs of employees are being met. The Learning Liaison Officer will be the communication linkage between the Corporate Training Team and the employees of WesBanco.
LOCATION:
This position is 100% remote within the Bank's footprint. Employee will work full time remote outside of a WesBanco location (may occasionally attend in person meetings, although primary functions of the role are performed remotely).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as employee liaison and directs employees to learning opportunities promoting career growth.
Monitors employee learning progress and counsels as needed to ensure successful training and maximize knowledge retention.
Counsels and guides manager for successful employee outcome for trainings. Reviews learning strengths and weaknesses of employee and communicates to manager.
Provides first-level support for WesBanco?s Learning Management System (LMS), including course resets for multiple failed attempts
Pulls, reviews, and analyzes reports from WesBanco?s LMS.
Manages and maintains Instructor-Led (IL) and eLearning content within LMS
Works collaboratively with all business units to ensure employees are receiving the training necessary to effectively work their position. Identifies knowledge and skills gaps in current training courses to employee population.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation of incomplete and past due eLearning assignments and sends reminders to employees with courses nearing their due date
Assists in instructional design to ensure needs of employees are being met
Moderates and hosts virtual training sessions
Assists facilitator during live in-person trainings as needed
Other duties may be assigned.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
Skilled with the set up and use of AV equipment a plus
Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
Ability to effectively use technological resources for meetings, coaching, and training.
Valid Driver?s License
Requires up to 50% travel
Ability to travel to all WesBanco markets
May require travel away from home up to a week at a time
This position requires the ability to travel monthly, which could include several night stays and, on occasion, up to one week at a time.
Use of personal automobile may be required as outlined in the Travel and Entertainment guidelines.
Employee needs a willingness to work flexible hours.
This position requires a professional image and a positive and enthusiastic attitude about the corporation and its training programs.
Requires a knowledge or ability to learn bank products and services.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
