About the role Designs, develops, documents, tests, debugs, and implements, new and existing data programs/software. Serves as technical expert on development projects in domain(s)/platforms(s) of expertise. Reviews specifications, business requirements, technical requirements, and/or regulatory documentation to develop programmed solutions. Supports, maintains, and documents program/software functionality. Develops strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation. Collects, cleans, analyzes, and interprets data from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights to inform business decisions. How does this role make an impact? This role is within the Enterprise Data and DevOps team as part of the Strategy and Innovation area of Illinois Farm Bureau. This department and area serve a critical role in the organization?s efforts to continue growing as a data driven organization. The team works across all departments/divisions in the organization, as well as with external partners/affiliates. A Data Developer and Analyst should expect to design, develop, document, test, debug, and implement new and existing data programs and software. They will serve as a technical expert on development projects in various domains and platforms of expertise. They may review specifications, business and technical requirements, and/or regulatory documentation to develop solutions and analyses. A Data Developer and Analyst will develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation. They will collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights to inform business decisions. Do you have what we're looking for? - SQL knowledge - Analytics and visualization capabilities - Programming experience - Systems architecture knowledge Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training. Base Pay Range: $76,800-$105,600 The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience. Incentive Pay: In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan. Why work with us?
