Job Description: This position supports the promotion of health insurance products and services, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Large and Small Group, Dental, Wellness, and Individual Plans by following an annual strategy to retain members and increase sales and member engagement. It supports the implementation of marketing, which significantly impacts the achievement of company sales goals. This position partners with internal business owners and follows an annual marketing campaign. It coordinates all marketing efforts related to promotion of products and services. It also supports the development of marketing and sales tools, which effectively promote, sell, educate, and engage audiences. This position works closely with graphic designers and copywriters to oversee the creation of marketing brochures and member communications. It ensures the end products portray the expected message through design and content. Marketing Plan and Communication Strategy: Follows an annual marketing plan ensuring work supports the client's goals and approved initiatives. 2. Research Strategy: Works with the Research Team and other research sources to gather feedback to provide input for marketing promotion and member communication efforts. 3. Project Management: Uses project tracking software to create project plans for the prioritized initiatives. Provides status reports to Marketing managers and internal client business owners, as appropriate. 4. Budget Management: Reconciles invoices and ensures they match the bid and are submitted for payment in a timely manner. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications, English, marketing, public relations, or business. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified. Two years of experience in marketing, account management, ad agency, or retail promotion, health insurance or healthcare communications or promotion, communications, or public relations. - and - Demonstrated proficiency in writing and verbal communication skills. - and - Demonstrated experience with word processing and other office software, desktop publishing programs, and multi-media presentation tools. Preferred Qualifications Health insurance or healthcare industry marketing and promotion experience. - and - Experience in managing marketing, communications, or public relations projects. - and - Sales experience - and - Strong writing skills. - and - Project leadership skills, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and problem-resolution skills. Physical Requirements: Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information. - and - Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands. - and - See and read computer monitors and documents. - and - Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
