JOB SUMMARY

The VP is accountable for creating an enterprise finance center of expertise focused on catalyzing and enabling the business transformation efforts through driving financial discipline, ensuring alignment between financial goals and strategic initiatives while focusing value creation across the enterprise through improved efficiencies and effectiveness.

The incumbent will be instrumental in sharpening the focus and driving an increased pace of transformational change across enterprise finance. Accountable for building, maturing and executing a set of new and different finance capabilities, while also identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and eliminate foundational work within financial planning & cost management and cost center collaboration. Will drive development/re-engineering of the infrastructure required to manage and transform work.

The role is accountable for overseeing and managing the enterprise view of administrative cost structure including establishment, monitoring and recalibration of formal multi-year budgets while aligning with pricing and related funding actions. The cost structure must align with the organization's strategic plans and goals as well as affordability and provide clear line of sight to how initiatives will be funded.

This VP role is accountable for accelerating building, maturing and execution of a set of new and different capabilities, including financial analysis and modeling focused on long-term cost/value goals and the impact of business transformation efforts, development of end-to-end costing & ROI management capabilities, partnering with the business units to develop performance management orientation and related capabilities aligned with strategic plans and a focus on deeper stakeholder alignment capabilities in collaboration with the Business Transformation Office (BTO) and business unit partners.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
? Perform management responsibilities to include but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
? The incumbent is specifically accountable for financial planning and cost management for corporate functions; however partners closely with Business Unit finance teams in a hybrid model. This includes developing, maintaining and re-calibrating the formal multi-year budget updated as part of each year's fall planning process and implementing run-rate modeling to identify pressure, risks & opportunities. Works directly with executive leadership and CFOs to monitor, modify and communicate run-rate projections. Provides thought leadership to identify and execute opportunities to streamline, automate and eliminate to free capacity. Oversee development/re-engineering of infrastructure to manage and transform administrative cost structure.
? Provide executive oversight to the team who leads cost center collaboration for corporate functions, which includes partnering with executive leaders and cost center managers to share budget performance, develop cost allocations and ideate to solve budget pressures.
? Provides executive leadership to a centralized enterprise financial analysis and modeling team accountable for developing long-range cost/value goals aligned to the enterprise financial plan. Provides analysis on cost drivers and savings opportunities. Develops financial impact modeling of transformation activities and initiative level forecasting to inform decision making. Partners with BTO and business unit finance to communicate financial implications of transformation initiatives to stakeholders.
? Accountable for the development of end-to-end costing and ROI management including tracking costs across departments and activities, maintaining ROI standards and investment thresholds and monitoring progress of transformation initiatives and tracking of ROI in collaboration with business unit finance partners.
? Partner with BTO, business unit executives and finance teams to track progress toward cost/value targets, understand trends and areas for improvement and to monitor financial risks and implement controls to mitigate potential issues. Provide financial expertise and support to the BTO during ideation to implementation.
? Build required infrastructure and orchestrate maturing and execution of above capabilities to support a business transformation and performance management focus.
? Integrate and operationalize approved enterprise initiatives by ensuring alignment of financial business case analysis for executive leadership to use in the strategic planning process and daily management of the business activities. This accountability involves partnering with the BTO and business unit leaders and finance to implement approved initiatives into the financial planning process and ensure value is realized and adjusted accordingly.
? Drive alignment around new finance capabilities needed and shift in focus required. Upskill talent and partner with Business Transformation Office and Business Unit CFOs and COO to catalyze and enable the transformation.

EXPERIENCE

Required
? Leading transformation and change in a heavily matrixed and hybrid finance organization.
? Progressive experience in financial analysis and modeling and end-to-end cost management, with a strong track record of maturing and transforming teams.
? Demonstrated political savvy and success in building relationships across multiple and complex business and organizational structures.
? Proven ability to develop and implement financial models, conduct cost analysis, and provide insightful financial reporting.
? Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to executive and cross functional audiences.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. ?
