This lead for Third-Party Risk Management is responsible for building and overseeing CSAA's Third-Party Risk Management Framework that ensures the proper risk governance, management and due diligence of Suppliers. This position will play a key role in effective implementation and adoption of the Enterprise Risk Framework.

Your work:

Essential Functions / Principal Responsibilities:

In close coordination with key risk stakeholders develop and oversee the Third-Party Risk Management Framework, including the Programs to effectively understand and manage risks specific to Suppliers in alignment with the CSAA's risk appetite

Work closely and effectively with key internal stakeholder in the design and ongoing execution of the Third-Party Risk Framework, and ensure clear roles and responsibilities, and accountability for risk is established

Implement and oversee an effective Third-Party Risk governance program, in conjunction with the CSAA's Risk Governance framework, including appropriate Third-Party related committees and setting enterprise-wide Third-Party policy, and working with all key stakeholders in the development and implementation of detailed Third-Party procedures. Ensure the Framework and related policies, procedures and methodologies are reviewed at least annually, or as needed based on changes to product/service offerings and/or third-party profiles

Ensure reasonable SLA's related to the Third-Party due diligence, contracting, oversight and reporting are established and adhered to by working with Legal and Procurement

Establish and oversee the risk assessment/due diligence approach and that it's executed effectively and re-evaluated for applicability and comprehensiveness

Establish and oversee the approach for ongoing oversight and reporting/escalation for each category of third-party, including establishing key risk and performance metrics by segment and customer/partner/supplier type, and integration with CSAA's Issue Management program, and ensure that it's executed effectively and re-evaluated for applicability and comprehensiveness at least annually, or as needed based on changes to product/service offerings and/or third-party profiles

Stay closely engaged with industry and regulators relative to Third-Party risk best practices and key areas of risk and regulatory focus

Provide periodic reporting to Management

Provide leadership and day-to-day management

As applicable, support and engage in the company's Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Program, Employee Ethics and Conduct Program, Customer Complaint Management, Reputational Risk Management, and Employee Hotline Management

Support the Risk Department in developing risk strategy and roadmap

Work with risk domain owners from across organization (e.g., information security, privacy, reputation, compliance) to set standards, address findings and communicate and escalate risk issues

Advocate TPRM capabilities to business stakeholders by demonstrating value and fostering awareness

What would make us excited about you?

Bachelors degree in a related field.

5+ years of direct experience leading the design, implementation, and maturity of enterprise Third-Party Risk programs

Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and innovative

Demonstrated analytical, financial, problem solving, organization, and project management skills

Ability to lead and influence change in the face of complexity and ambiguity

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills

Expert understanding of contract terms and techniques for driving additional value and managing risks

Develop and manage relationships across the business to achieve key business, organizational and cross-cultural objectives

Knowledge of TPRM and Supplier Management tools such as Archer and Coupa

Technology-savvy and high competency in MS office; Advanced Excel skills and other analytics software

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including meeting facilitation and presentations

12+ years of related professional experience in third-party risk or relevant experience in related fields

The national average salary range for this position is $134,820-$149,800. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $121,320-$179,800. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 15% of eligible pay.
