This position requires candidates to live within a 50-mile radius of South Bend/New Carlisle, Indiana Site Services Installation Technician ? Construction Site Overview: We are looking for Site Services Installation Technicians to join our team at Subzero Engineering, installing Hot and Cold Aisle Containment in Mission Critical Environments. This is a construction site role, and construction experience is preferred. However, at a minimum, any hands-on work experience will be considered. This role requires technical skills, physical stamina, and the ability to follow instructions while ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols. Key Responsibilities: ? Install hot and cold aisle containment systems, including doors, panels, and roof systems. ? Measure, cut, and assemble materials (aluminum, steel, glass, plastic) using power and hand tools. ? Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain containment system integrity. ? Work in classified areas, respecting customer security regulations and confidentiality ? policies. ? Follow multi-step directions, collaborate with team leads, data center managers, and contractors. ? Maintain assigned tools and equipment, ensure safe work practices, and complete OSHA 10-hour training (provided). ? Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and inspection activities. ? Manage expenses, travel identification, and reports. ? Represent the company professionally, ensuring customer confidence and satisfaction. Qualifications: ? High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training in construction, HVAC, or related fields is a plus. ? Experience in data center installations, construction, or technical trades is highly desirable. ? Knowledge of tape measurements, drills, assembly, troubleshooting, and working on active job sites. ? Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and ability to follow instructions. ? Must be quality-oriented, driven, and adaptable to rapid changes. Physical Requirements: ? Ability to bend, lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.), crawl, kneel, twist, reach, and work in confined spaces. ? Comfortable working at heights and within active construction zones. ?
